Conan the Barbarian

Friedrich Nietzsche: "That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

"Conan, what is best in life?

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and to hear the lamentations of their women!"

I fell over laughing on my keyboard, Carlos. I've been reading Conan and collecting the comics since I was 25 years old. I won't tell you how long ago THAT was. The lamentations quote is one of my favorites from the first movie. Thanks for the laugh.

Really Annie? Even before the movie in '82, I was reading the books and obviously as a 12 year old I loved that movie!!!

I love the '80's in general for so many reasons, but I am so glad we have something else in common.

Thanks for all the Rome links by the way, I am in the process of taking Italian this fall, but with work and everything I have been so busy....
