After the white smoke is witnessed, heralding the election of a new Bishop of Rome, the Cardinal Proto-Deacon will come out and declare: Habemus Papam

The current occupant of the aforementioned office and who will carry out this most important task is Frenchmen, Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran.

This is, precisely what he will say, in Latin:

Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum:
Habemus Papam!
Eminentissimum ac Reverendissimum Dominum, Dominum [forename],
Sanctae Romanae Ecclesiae Cardinalem [surname],
qui sibi nomen imposuit [papal name].

English translation:

"I announce to you a great joy: We have a Pope!
The Most Eminent and Most Reverend Lord, Lord [forename],
Cardinal of the Holy Roman Church [surname],
who takes to himself the name [papal name]."
